Past NOVAGA ActivitiesInternal Controls are KeyAll-day training event - March 21, 2007 The recent update of OMB Circular A-130 re-emphasized federal managers' responsibility for internal controls and shows there is an increasing need to focus on key controls in order for the federal government to successfully obtain unqualified opinions on its financial statements. The event helped federal managers focus on those key controls as they prepare for what's next in federal financial management.
